Le Creuset’s Round Cocotte Dutch Oven is a legendary French classic.
This cast iron enamel cookware, with its signature ringed lid and raised ‘Le Creuset’ lettering is still forged and crafted by hand in Fresnoy le Grand, north-east of Paris. BRANDMADE.TV filmed as red hot pig iron was poured into sand moulds from a large caldron called a ‘creuset’ in the French language. These moulds are then recycled so that no two pieces of Le Creuset are ever ‘exactly’ the same.
