The Le Corbusier LC2 sofa is one of the most famous furniture designs in modern history. With an external frame providing a container for the cushions within, the sofa and the companion pieces of the LC2 Collection were the unique vision of three designers – Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Hard to believe it was first introduced in the 1920’s. BRANDMADE.TV filmed the making of the sofa at the Cassina production facility in Meda, Italy, just north of Milan. BEWARE… there are lots of knock-off, so be sure get the real thing at Design Within Reach.
